TGGI has provided tech data services to the Corpus Christi Army Depot and the base library services at Dyess Air Force Base Library, Abilene, Texas.

President of TGGI, Robert C. Ramos is a qualified service professional with over 20 years of experience in the administrative service field. He started The Gabriel Group in response to a growing need for qualified, professional and service-oriented administrative, clerical and library service providers. 

David Guerra-Prats serves as Director of Operations; he brings our customers more than 20 years experience in administrative and technical library management.  He ensures continuous adherence to quality and ethical standards.

LIBRARY SUPPORT

 The Gabriel Group provides support services for more than 30 DOD aviation technical libraries throughout CCAD.  We acquire, prepare and organize material, using the latest technologies such as the Internet, virtual libraries and automated databases.  Our specialized library services include:

·         Provide and implement management policies/practices
·         Plan and control resource management
·         Manage general library operations
·         Assess and adjust measurement, analysis, and improvement
·         Maintain a central technical publication library
·         Direct library users to standard references
·         Maintain an electronic intranet library
·         Organize and maintain technical manuals and periodicals
·         Prepare volumes for binding
·         Perform routine cataloguing and coding of library materials
·         Retrieve information from computer databases
·         Scan and index publications and records
·         Provide valuable experience and knowledge in databases, library automation systems and on-line library systems

ADMINISTRATIVE, TECHNICAL AND CLERICAL SUPPORT

Operator Services 
We provide data entry, filing, scanning, engineering drawing services, document and records management, message distribution, administrative and library management services.

File/Print Services 
We use Engineering Data Information System (EDIS) and DoD JEDMICS repositories to manage engineering drawings. We convert paper and aperture cards to digital format for editing purposes.

We manage tech manuals in Adobe PDF format, Interactive Electronic Tech Manuals (IETMs) in SGML and manage the printing of technical manuals on an outsource basis.

Hardware
We operate many high-end computers, using a variety of software for plotters, printers and scanners to digitize technical data, documents, and engineering drawings.

Standardized Software
We currently use Windows based operating systems and a variety of Microsoft applications, web page creation software, drawing conversion software and the full Adobe publishing software. 
Additional software includes Internet Explorer, Netscape, and a variety of DOD web-based applications, including JCALS, JEDMICS, and EDIS.  We also use Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
In addition to our general library responsibilities, we help the Air Combat Command meet its mission by providing specialized activities that meet the complex, multifaceted information needs of the base community. 
We provide professional and voluntary educational programs and services designed to enhance the quality of life and meet the personal information requirements of authorized users. 

Educational Projects include:

Implementing a pilot program to establish a working relationship between home school families on base and the Air Force Library

ADMINISTRATIVE, TECHNICAL AND CLERICAL SUPPORT

•    At the request of Carol Emery, Air Combat Command Librarian, our Library Director was asked to speak at the Annual Air Force Workshop on this pilot program.
•    Coordinate the yearly Dr. Seuss Birthday Party and The Summer Reading program.  The statistics have been outstanding. 
•    Procured copies of all the books on the Air Force Chief of Staff’s Professional Reading List.

PAST PERFORMANCE

Corpus Christi Army Depot

The Gabriel Group, Inc. supports approximately 75 technical libraries throughout the Corpus Christi Army Depot in addition to the Depot’s central library and an electronic intranet library.  The project, in place for 17+ years, services a workforce of 3,000 CCAD and contractor employees.  Our team relies upon more than 30 computers in the performance of this contract.

Base Library, Dyess AFB, TX.
TGGI operates the Base Library, Dyess AFB, Texas.  This library is a general library in the Air Force Library and Information System under the management of the 7th Contracting Squadron, Dyess AFB.  Under this contract, we focus on four key areas:

•    Top Management Responsibilities (policies/practices),
•    Resource Management (planning/control),
•    General Library Services (Operations)
•    Measurement, Analysis and Improvement (assess/adjust).

McTurbine Company, Corpus Christi, TX.
TGGI provided shop traveler services to McTurbine Company, a subsidiary of Bell Helicopters.  Under this contract we provided a written record for the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, modification, reassembly, servicing and testing of engine components.  

CITGO Refining & Chemicals Company, Corpus Christi, TX.

TGGI provides the digitization and conversion of records on a as needed basis. We provide pick-up and delivery 24-hour emergency service is available.

 

General Electric-Engine Services LLC, Winfield KS

TGGI provides electronic updates to the T700 Publications: DMWR 1-2840-248-1 and DMWR 1-2840-248-2 (Depot Maintenance Work Requirement) to include changes and supplements. Post changes and supplements such as MEOs (Maintenance Engineering Orders) in (pdf) format to the basic publications and return the completed electronic DMWRs to GE-Aviation.
